Mission Statement
To provide a way to promote a Christ-centered community of people willing to share their talents based on the individual abilities. We use those talents to make and sell quilts for the benefit of St. Paul parish and the community through the St. Anne’s Sodality.When and Where We Meet
The Quilt group meets on Wednesday’s from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the quilt room in the church basement next to the Youth Group room.

The Quilts are priced based on size and the amount of work, either machine quilted or hand quilted.

Activities
We do both piecing and hand quilting at the same time. We also have an amazing support staff of people that do everything from wash fabric, embroider, and tack binding at home. We usually have about 14 people active in the quilt room on any given day. We teach hand quilting to those who want to learn. We have all our own equipment available on the premises to piece quilts.
We support one raffle a year, make quilts for sale that are machine quilted, we support many charities including places like, birthright, nurses for newborns, our local nursing home, and the Quilts of Valor.
If you want to see what we do, visitors are always welcome, just check with us first because we do take field trips
to quilt with the Eastern Missouri Quilts of Valor and we have been known to appear in the local quilt shop on a Wednesday.
If we can help you find the perfect baby quilt, throw quilt, or table runner let us know, because we do sell items we design regularly, but we do not do custom work at this time.

FAQ: What we do
- The quilt room makes items and runs one raffle a year during the Lenten season at the fish fries. We make all the items we raffle.
- We make all the baptismal bibs for church (about 50-75 a year).
- We make and sell quilts and other items that are posted on our website year-round.
- We are blessed to receive a grant from the Vietnam Veterans Post 1028 to make 10-12 Quilts of Valor each year. All of these quilts are pieced and quilted by the quilters:
- some of these quilts are given to parishioners who have recently served.
- We give away one quilt each year at the Veterans Day Celebration held by school.
- We normally travel to quilt with the Eastern Missouri Quilts of Valor organization. This area-wide group makes Quilts of Valor during 8 months of the year, and the remainder of our QOV’s we have not distributed are donated to them.
- We hope to continue to make simple quilts for mission trips in distressed countries. If the clinics do not have anything for the new mothers, their infants are wrapped in newspaper.
- We make a quilt for each priest who serves in our parish at some time during their service.
- We make items in the name of St. Anne’s that are donated to the Kenrick-Glennon Seminary Auction, held in the fall each year. (We currently have 1 young man recently ordained.)
- We make a large variety of smaller items that are sold to raise money for St. Anne’s.
- We have assisted in the repair of our priests’ vestments when it has been requested.
- We donate baby blankets, bibs , and burp pads to Clinics in Washington County, Nurses for newborns, and Birthright.
- We make and donate items to give to our yearly collections.
- We do one or two community booths a year along with events at the parish.
- We make lap quilts and adult bibs for nursing homes we service.
- We make lap quilts for veterans at Jefferson Barracks VA hospital.
- We make quilts for the honor flight program.
- We will have made over 100 pillowcases for those undergoing chemotherapy thanks to the sponsorship of a private donor by the end of the year.
- We made a quilt for the POW/MIA museum that was sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 1028 that was raffled off to help raise money for the museum.
All these activities are done under the umbrella of St. Anne’s Sodality and St. Paul Catholic Church,
so we are in the community trying to make a difference and spreading
the word of Christ’s love for all. We are blessed to have private donors for
anything not in the St. Anne’s mission or a request from our pastor

Donations
We accept donations for our Quilts of Valor Fund and we will accept Quilting fabric with prior notification.
The money we collect for Quilts of Valor helps us continue that program as it does not meet the mission of our sponsoring organization and is mainly run on a grant from the Fenton Vietnam Veteran's Chapter 1028. If you want to help us continue,
each Quilt of Valor cost about $75.00 for us to complete with our volunteer labor and fabric donations. If you want to donate we accept cash and checks made out to St. Paul/St. Anne's and a notation on the check of QOV. We also have the QR Code on our page that can be used with Pay Pal or Credit Card using the St.Anne's Quilter notation.
