Program:- CYC Golf Overview:
- CYC Golf is broken into two leagues (Training League & Junior League)
- Second through eighth graders participate
- Team concept similar to high school and college golf programs
- Timing of the program is mid April thru early July
- Training:
- 2nd through 8th grade
- Professional golf instruction
- 4 one hour long range lessons and 2 on course lessons
- Lessons progress from basic fundamentals to play on the course
- ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE ACCOMMODATED
- Junior League:
- 5th thru 8th grade
- Competitive team based golf program
- Separate divisions for each grade and gender (teams 8 players maximum)
- 6 rounds of league play in a 9 hole tournament format
- Plus – 3 weeks of professional instruction
- Each lesson is 60 minutes long
- Etiquette Seminar:
- All Junior golfers and one parent of each golfer are required to attend a rules and etiquette seminar.
- This is offered on several dates and locations prior to the start of play. The schedule will be forwarded via e-mail to registered players / parents.
