This year our Operation Kid-to-Kid project will have us reaching out to children in Haiti who live in extreme poverty.  Our projects and supplies will be donated to Dee Leahy, a local woman who runs People to People, a non-profit organization that has been providing relief to the poorest of the poor in Haiti for over 25 years.

 

Each crew of campers will decorate a tote bag with their names and bible verses that we’ll be learning about during the week.  Each child will also decorate a Bible Bookmark.

 

Throughout the week we will be collecting donations of medical supplies, which are always needed.  Suggested items include:

 

·       Adhesive bandages- all sizes

·       Gauze pads

·       Adhesive cloth tape

·       Antibiotic ointment

·       Antiseptic towelettes

·       Non-latex gloves

·       Cotton balls

·       Roller bandages
