RELIGION In room 12 we are currently designing a Jesse Tree that will be hung on our classroom door. The tree gets its name from King David’s father, Jesse. David and Jesse are Jesus’ ancestors. The Jesse Tree is more like a family tree with symbols of saints and the Holy Family. Our class colored and cut pictures that represent some of the symbols the Catholic Church puts on the Jesse Tree. We drew some of our own symbols and they will be hung on our Jesse Tree. Some people are cutting out the actual tree and are gluing the symbols. Look for our tree in the hallway and remember the symbols this Advent.

READING: We are currently reading Tuck Everlasting. It is a very good book and we have been reading it for a while now. I think that everybody is enjoying this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious book [from Mary Poppins]. We can read in groups, or we could read alone. Almost everybody does groups so it can be pretty loud in here. This book uses a lot of symbolism. It uses a ferris wheel to show the circle of life [or something like that]. It is about these people who are frozen in their age for the rest of eternity. Wouldn’t that be nice [jk jk J]!! That’s all for now, have a nice day, may God bless you. Mystery reporter, over and out! JL???( ;
Tuck Everlasting You better get those vocabulary words done right! Don’t be LAZY!! This book has TONS of vocabulary words, so be prepared for those tests. This section is very ery short. The chapters aren’t very long, but you never know when something very important pops up! Study udy udy! Just because the chapters are short doesn’t mean that they’re not important. Some people say that the book is confusing! But they’re wrong! I think that it’s very good. I’m going to interview some people to see what their point of view is. First interview: Q. How do you like the book? A. It’s very interesting and it caught my attention says a student from Rm 12. Second interview. Q. “So how do you like the book so far?” “I think it’s a strange book, but very good at the same time.” That’s all the interviews for today but this party isn’t done yet. JJJJJJJJJJ Mrs. Evans decided that instead of a picture for the sections of the books that we’re going to be doing something else! What could it be? Keep coming on our webpage to find out what it might be! Another mystery reporter but not the same one, rock on my student peeps! Oh this is not a boy!
