Tests for the week of October 13:
Tuesday: Religion, Ch 5
Friday: Spelling, Days and Months
and Reading, Guys From Space
Math: Chapter 3 tests were pretty
good. Room 5's average was an 88% and Room 6's average was an 84%. We
will move into multiplication for the rest of October. Thanks to all
the wonderful parents who have volunteered to help. I couldn't do it
without you!!!
Social Studies: The continents
and oceans test were wonderful. WOW!!! We will finish up Chapter 3 and
plan to have a test around October 22.
Religion: We are on Chapter 5
over
Jesus. We are learning about the Holy Family this week. A test will be
on Tuesday.
English: We have been writing
stories using our writing
binders. We are going to be writing about Fall things, pumpkins,
ghosts, and scarecrows. We are, also, writing a Fall Poem this week.
Reading: We are reading Guys From
Space and plan to have a
test on Friday.
