St. Paul Parish School of Religion

Parish School of Religion (PSR) is St. Paul’s education program serving the children of the parish not attending a full time Catholic school.   PSR continues and supplements the religious formation of parents, the first teachers of their children.  The program provides a foundation for life-long learning and practice of the Catholic Faith; opening the children to an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Men and women who love being Catholic and are willing to present the faithful teachings of the Catholic Church instruct the children. With the guidance of the PSR Director, along with outside educational and spiritual opportunities, the catechists (teachers of religion) continue to grow in their knowledge and faith life.  Catechists and substitutes are always needed and welcome.

St. Paul PSR Program educates students from 1st -8th grade, including:

·         Children joining the Church

·         Children with special needs

·         Children missing a year or more of religious education

Parents may choose Monday or Tuesday classes.  The classes are held from 6:30-7:45 pm.

Classes for 2015-2016 will begin on August 17/18.  Registration is now open. Please contact me with your questions and/or to request the registration forms.  The forms can be emailed to you or picked up in person.  My office is located in the school.  On Mondays and Tuesdays, I am available throughout the day until 8:00pm.  On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I am available through the day until 5:30pm.  Appointments are not required, but desired.  I will either call or email you to confirm reception of your forms.  At this time you will receive your screen name and password for our PSR FastDirect information system.  I will also set up an appointment to meet you and explain our program, if we didn’t already meet.

During June and July, please call my cell, 314-550-5590, or email me to start the process.

God Bless You and Yours,
