Program:   
  • CYC Golf Overview:
    • CYC Golf is broken into two leagues (Training League & Junior League)
    • Second through eighth graders participate
    • Team concept similar to high school and college golf programs
    • Timing of the program is mid April thru early July

  • Training League:
    • 2nd through 4th grade
    • Professional golf instruction
    • “Teams” of 6-8 players for each grade and gender
    • Each team participates in 6, one hour long, lessons facilitated by a golf professional.
    • Lessons progress from basic fundamentals to play on the course
    • ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE ACCOMMODATED

  • Junior League:
    • 5th thru 8th grade
    • Competitive team based golf program
    • Separate divisions for each grade and gender (teams 8 players maximum)
    • 6 weeks of league play in a 9 hole tournament format
    • Plus – 3 weeks of professional instruction
    • Each lesson is 90 minutes long

  • Etiquette Seminar:
    • All golfers and one parent of each golfer are required to attend a rules and etiquette seminar.
    • This is offered on several dates and locations prior to the start of play. The schedule will be forwarded via e-mail to registered players / parents.

Registration

Begins in January and ends in February.  Look in the weekly bulletin or go to the Online Registration link to get more information about registration.
