Baseball/Softball

Registration:
  • Baseball/Softball/t-ball begins in the Spring of the current school year.
  • When registering, choose the grade the athlete is currently in; NOT the grade the athlete will be in the fall.  
    T-ball Program:
    • This is an in-house, co-ed league for those children not yet in Kindergarten.  The athlete must be at least 3 years old. Depending upon the number of registered athletes, there usually are six or eight teams made up of between 6 - 9 players. Practices and games are on the same night of the week, traditionally Wednesdays and/or Thursdays.  Practice begins at 6:00 pm followed by a 2 or 3 inning game at 6:30 pm.  All games are played on St. Paul's soccer field.  Games start Mid-April and run through the first week of July.
    • A T-shirt will be provided at no cost as part of the registration fee.
    Kindergarten thru 2nd grade Program:
    • Starting in 2015, new baseball/softball shirts will be required to be purchased by the families.  These uniforms are separate from the ones worn in the Soccer program.  All uniforms will be given to the coaches and they will distribute them to the teams.
    • Practices will be on weeknights, in 1 or 1-1/2 hour time slots.
    • Practices will start in Mid-March. Your coach will contact you with your team’s practice information.
    • Each team will be required to work the concession stand one weekend.  The coach will coordinate the work slots with the families.
    3rd grade thru 8th grade Program:
    • Starting in 2015, new baseball/softball uniforms (shirt, pants, belts and socks) will be required to be purchased by the families.  These uniforms are separate from the ones worn in the Soccer program.  All uniforms will be given to the coaches and they will distribute them to the teams.
    • Practices will be on weeknights, in 1 or 1-1/2 hour time slots.
    • Practices will start in Mid-March. Your coach will contact you with your team’s practice information.
    • Games start Mid-April and run through Mid-July.
    • Playoffs (5th - 8th grade); District - end of July; Archdiocesan - beginning of August.
